Wrinkle Treatments

What Is Botox

Botox is a neuromodulator therapy designed to reduce facial expression lines and is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment for wrinkle removal, or wrinkle relaxation. Botox in San Ramon can relax your wrinkles so your skin can look and feel tight and youthful again.

This approach is most appropriate for deeper “dynamic” lines and wrinkles and is less effective for fine textural lines, present at rest. The fine textural lines can be reduced with combinations of HydraFacial, Microneedling, RF Microneedling, and regular application of skin care creams. Of course, adequate hydration and high quality sunscreen are always a must.

Demi Sato and her team really cares about skin health and is really wonderful to work with. After multiple pregnancies and stress at work, I just started to age pretty fast in my 40s with the dark spots, wrinkles and looser skin. Blossom put together a 6 month treatment plan for me that included, microneedling, Botox on my forehead and crows feet, HydraFacial and ZO skin cream for daily maintenance. I’m in month 3 now and my darks spots are fading with micro-needling and the Botox helped tighten my skin. Keeping light on the Botox as it’s my first time with that kind of stuff. I love how my skin feels now and brings me more confidence!

We use only FDA-approved BOTOX® Cosmetic shipped from Allergan to treat our clients. Since this product has 28 years of expertise, is approved in 97 countries, and has been featured almost 3,700 times in scientific and medical journals, it is proven safe, and we are proud to offer this treatment.

There are more than 6 million Botox treatments administered every year. Botox treats not only wrinkles and facial creases but is also used to treat hyperhidrosis, which is excessive sweating in certain body areas.

Excessive sweating can significantly affect quality of life; what you can wear is limited, you have to care for sweat marks all of the time, and it can be embarrassing. Botox utilizes botulinum toxin to block the nerve signals responsible for sweating and to stop the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Treatment is typically needed every four to six months, as the nerves regenerate.

What does it do?

Botox can be used to treat a number of types of wrinkles on the face, including lipstick lines around the lips, horizontal forehead wrinkles, vertical frown lines, cheek wrinkles, crow’s feet around the eyes, chin wrinkles, and bunny lines. This injectable treatment can also relax vertical platysmal neck bands, soften an overly masculine jaw and jawline, treat hyperhidrosis in areas like the armpits, and resolve migraine headaches. For moderate and deep wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth, loss of cheek and undereye volume, and acne scars, dermal fillers are a more effective option than Botox. We offer a number of dermal fillers.

Excessive Sweating Treatment

Botox is a Neuromodulator therapy, which is the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatment for wrinkle removal or wrinkle relaxation designed to reduce facial expression lines. Excessive sweating can significantly affect quality of life. What you can wear is limited, you have to care for sweat marks all of the time and it can be embarrassing. Botox utilizes botulinum toxin to block the nerve signals responsible for sweating and to prevent the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Treatment is typically needed every 4 to 6 months, as the nerves regenerate.

If you are getting Botox, a 2-3 week follow up is highly recommended so that we can assess treatment results and provide additional support if needed.
