Prepare and Special Considerations
Before your BioRePeel treatment, it is recommended to avoid sun exposure and stop using AHA, BHA, and Retinols for about 7-14 days before and after your treatment.
BioRePeel should not be utilized with the following conditions listed below:
- Active bacterial infection, viral, fungal or herpetic infections
- Open wounds
- Pre-existing inflammatory dermatosis (i.e., psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, pemphigus)
- Skin cancer – MUST be cancer free for a period of 3 years and have direct written consent from a physician.
- Pregnant and breastfeeding
- History of drugs with photosensitizing potential
- Use of Accutane within a 6–8-month period
- Not fully recovered from any kind of cosmetic surgery
- Aspirin allergy
Aftercare
- Avoid makeup application if possible for 24-48 hours following your appointment
- Avoid AHAs, BHAs, and retinols for 7-14 days following your appointment
- Avoid waxing, hair removal, or hair bleaching for 14 days following to your appointment
- Avoid swimming and steam saunas for 14 days following your appointment
- Avoid sunbeds, tanning, or self-tanning for 14 days following your appointment
- Keep the skin hydrated with a gentle moisturizer.
- After the treatment, it is of utmost importance to wear a high broad spectrum SPF cream to protect your skin from sun damage and maintain best results. (Ask us about our products available at the Med Spa)
- Depending on your skin type and other factors, there can be visible peeling, for a few days, after this treatment.
When can I expect to see results?
Results are often visible after the first session, with ongoing improvements as collagen continues to rebuild. Full results may take a few weeks.

The longevity of results varies, but regular maintenance sessions can prolong the effects of BioRePeel.
