How long does it take?
This is dependent on the area being treated. A full body treatment can take 2-4 hours. Treatment confined to only a small area can take as little as 15 minutes.

Is it painful?
Some clients describe this treatment as feeling like the snapping of a rubber band, but discomfort or pain will vary with different areas of treatment. We will ensure you are feeling comfortable and minimize pain. Please be sure to shave before the appointment to minimize the pain.
Prepare
- Avoid sun exposure, in the treatment area, for four weeks prior to your laser session.
- Wear sunscreen if the treated area is exposed to sunlight.
- Shave the area to be treated.
- Do not apply lotions, creams, or makeup to the area prior to treatment.
- Please wait for three days after the use of antibiotics.
- Do not pluck hair or wax or use depilatories.
Aftercare
- Avoid exercise post-treatment (that day only).
- Avoid taking a hot shower post-treatment (that day only).
- Avoid exfoliating post-treatment (that day only).
- Avoid tanning for two weeks post-treatment.

How long do the results last?
After laser hair removal treatment, unwanted hair will likely grow back on the chin, neck, and other areas of the face or the body. This may be due in part to hormonal fluctuations and the reactivation of hair follicles by androgens and hormones, like testosterone. This will vary greatly and will depend on the client and individual factors.
The truth is that hair will continue to regrow and that is why this kind of treatment must be looked at in the scope of a timeline or process. This is definitely not a one-off kind of procedure. A planned course of treatment is required for results and maintenance.
